Why should I sign up for an account? 

Your MemberConnect account provides a convenient and secure way to send messages and documents to the Plan Office. By signing up, you will also be able to view and update your contact information and view your pension entitlement and beneficiary information.  

 

Is registration difficult? What information do I need to sign up? 

Registration can be completed in just 4 easy steps, which MemberConnect will walk you through. You just need to provide your personal email address, your date of birth and your unique eight-digit activation code that’s provided in this package.  

 

My verification code doesn’t work? 

We’re here to help. Call us at 604.433.6310 or email support@iwafibp.ca. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm, excluding statutory holidays.   

 

What if I don’t have a mobile number? 

A mobile number is an additional security measure, but it is not required to activate your MemberConnect account.  

 

Do I have to sign up right away? 

We recommend activating your account right away. The sooner you sign up, the sooner you will have access to your account.  

 

What happens if I choose not to activate my account? 

You can still communicate with the Plan Office by phone or email, but we recommend activating an account so you can securely send confidential messages and documentation and access your pension and beneficiary information. In addition, future phases of MemberConnect will present even more features and functions to help you access and understand your pension options.
